In late 2022, a Detroit History Facebook
group posted a 1956 photo of Nine Mile and
Woordward. Unfortuenately they said it was
facing East when it should have said West.

The photo and misinformation were
reposted many times. Everywhere it was posted
a few people provided corrections in the
comments, but the misinformation prevailed.

 

It has been said that to obtain high response rates on
social media, just post some obvious misinformation....
